Over the past year, the number of children participating in the Social Center’s programs has nearly doubled: more than 80 children compared to 50 last year.
The participants of the Social Center’s children’s program include families with children with special needs, single-parent families, and families facing financial hardship or difficult life circumstances.
Today, 44 children need support to cover basic needs, about 30 require subsidies to attend camps, and 25 need funding for extracurricular activities.
This growth reflects the challenging times we are living in.
But one thing remains our unwavering priority — a bright and successful future for our children.
It is important that every child not only receives a quality education, but also finds their path, discovers their abilities, and gains confidence in themselves.
And the journey toward this begins not only at school. Language classes, music, creative activities, sports, Jewish traditions, and of course our camps — all of these help a child grow into a well-rounded, curious, and strong individual.
Some children require regular support from specialists — speech therapists, psychologists, and special education teachers. This support is essential for their development, but many families simply cannot afford such services.
Unfortunately, the rise in the number of participating children has not been accompanied by a corresponding increase in the budget from our partners’ side.
Our goal is to raise 11,000 euros.

As part of the Hanukkah campaign, we are reaching out to each of you — please support our children.
Your contribution will help young talents grow: to learn, create, play sports, explore new things, and discover their own potential.
May we be able to say with pride years from now that we knew future scientists, artists, musicians, or athletes back when they were taking their first steps right here — in our Community.
Support the future. Support the children. Support the light of Hanukkah that we kindle together.
